Details on the Reunion

Thanks to everyone who bought their tickets last week and took advantage of the discount price. You can buy tickets until November 1, so you have a little time to figure out travel plans.

I wanted to clarify the menu because I have gotten a few questions. The reunion will include a 3 hour open bar, followed by a cash bar. Hearty hot hors'derves will passed around by waitstaff and will be followed by coffee and dessert.

There was a suggestion to have a pre-reunion get together too. I am not sure if it will be on Wednesday (the night before Thanksgiving) or Friday (the night before the reunion). Rather than go to Crummers, someone suggested Timothy Patricks. It is very close to Crummers (up near Rinky Dink). I will post a definate plan the week of the reunion.

Finally, for those of you who didn't get invites, please check out our blog to buy tickets. www.phs1997.blogspot.com If you want to pay by check, I can give you the mailing adress of where to send the check.

Tickets and Donations

Just a reminder today is the last day you can buy reunion tickets at the discount rate. So buy your's today! Paypal info is below or you can mail a check to Alissa VanMulem. If you need her address, email me at penfieldclass97@yahoo.com.

We are looking for prize donations that we can give away/sell at the reunion. We are going to have a silent auction or a raffle (we're still deciding, so let me know what you think) and could use items to sell or give away. If your company or business would like to make a donation, please email me. I'd be happy to post a blurb/link on the blog about your gift.

Have a good weekend! Tell your friends to buy their tickets soon!

I am hoping to mail out the invitations in the next few weeks. I'll post a message when they are mailed.

It is with sadness that I report Steve Butcher was slain in Iraq this week. Here is an article on the D&C website.

When: Saturday November 24, 2007 (Thanksgiving weekend! Please tell your families now so you can plan ahead if in-laws are involved)
Why: We are old! 10 years out!

Pricing will be included in the invite. We are still working out numbers.

If anyone wants to organize another activity (Amerks game, night at Crummers, etc) please let me know.

Thanks!
Mollie

Still Missing 149! as of 7/9/07

Happy Wednesday! Many thanks go out to Alissa Vanmulem for doing such an excellent job keeping track of our invitation database. Today she sent me updated lists of the "Haves" and "Have Nots." The good news is that we "have" 183 people from our class found!! The bad news is there are 193 to go. As I posted previously, we hope to snail-mail out invitations in June, so it would be a huge help to have your address now. Below is the newly updated list of missing students. If you see yourself on the list, please send your info to: penfieldclass97@yahoo.com. If there is nothing next to your name, we need your address, phone # and email. If we have partial info on you, there will be a description of what we still need next to your name.

Last week, I sent out messages to ~70 folks on myspace. Thanks to those who replied. If you are on facebook or other networking sites, please help out by seeking classmates. If you see friends on the list below, please send in their info or encourage them to do so.

As a reminder, the reunion is Saturday 11/24/07 in the evening (Thanksgiving weekend) at the Riverside Clarion, Rochester, NY. For you married folks out there, please let your spouses know so you can plan ahead. We will have a few rooms blocked off at the Clarion with a special rate. If you have other questions, please email me at penfieldclass97@yahoo.com.

Here is the missing list as of 7/9/07.

Take a look at the missing list!

A few posts ago, we listed our missing classmates. These are folks who are MIA. We just don't know where they are! The reunion committee is hoping to send out invitations via snail mail in June. Please take a look at the missing classmate list. I have been updating it reguarly as people sent their addresses and phone numbers to penfieldclass97@yahoo.com. If you see your friends on there, feel free to send in their info, or encourage them to. It's going to be a team effort here. We appreciate your help!

Invites to go out soon!

We will be mailing invites in late spring to give everyone time to coordinate travel plans. Remember the reunion is 11/24/07, the Saturday night of Thanksgiving weekend. Sending out the invitations soon will also give us some extra time to wrangle up half the class. Please take a moment to look over the missing list and get your friends to send in their contact info to: penfieldclass97@yahoo.com. We could use everyone's help with this. Feel free to break out the white pages, knock on doors, or look up phone numbers in the senior year book. I don't want to miss anyone who would like to attend. If you have any questions, feel free to email me! Thanks for all your help!

Many still missing...

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. It didn't seem like Christmas though without any snow. Then again, it didn't seem like winter in Rochester either.

The committee members spent some time researching childhood addresses of classmates, and were able to send out a few "save-the-date" postcards to them. Signs were also posted at Crummers and the Humprey House. However-

WE ARE STILL MISSING 150+ PEOPLE!

I realize I may sound like a broken record, but please, we could really use your help. I don't want anyone to feel left out because they weren't invited. Plus, the more people who attend the reunion, the less the tickets will be.

So please, take a few minutes to email your friends and remind them to send me their info. Go through your Rochester phone book and send me some parents' addresses even if you have lost touch with their child. Additionally, if you don't want to be found or attend the reunion, please let me know so we can stop looking for you. I will update the missing list posted below regularly.

E-mail all contact info to: penfieldclass97@yahoo.com

Thanks for your help!

Crummer's Saturday Night!

Members of the reunion committee will be at Crummer's Saturday night to collect addresses and phone numbers of those still missing. Please refer to the list below to see if you are one of those we need to find. Happy Holidays!

Little info about reunion

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I ran into a few folks at the Old Toad. We had a meeting over the weekend, and came to a few decisions. We will be mailing out invites next summer, so we really do need your snail-mail address. We are working out pricing for the tickets, so keep checking back. The Clarion Hotel has a few rooms blocked off at a a discounted rate of $89 for the night if you need a place to crash after the reunion or for the weekend. We have a general idea of the menu too, but I don't want to give too much away!

For this event to be successful, we need a big turnout. I would be happy to email you a copy of the "missing" list if you have time to put some feelers out with the folks you keep in touch with. Please email me at penfieldclass97@yahoo.com for the list or to contribute contact info. We are considering doing a mailing to alumni's parents' addresses at Xmas time. It would save us a lot of time (and you on the price of the ticket) if we could get some emails floating out there to find the missing people. Thanks for your help!

Updated Missing List - take a look!

Here is an updated list of who we are still missing info from. If you see your name on the list, but thought you sent it in, please send it again. We are doing the best we can to keep track. Also, our list is only the people listed in our yearbook to be in our class. If you went to school with us throughout your childhood, and wasn't able to graduate with us, thats ok. We still want to see you!

When sending in contact info, please send: name (including maiden name), snail mail address, email, and phone. Send it to: penfieldclass97@yahoo.com

New List Soon!

Hey guys. My brain is a little out of wack because of exams and projects being due before break. I hope to post a compressed/updated list of missing classmates again today or tomorrow. If you see one of the people over the holidays (or you could message them on myspace) please let them know to send in their contact info to penfieldclass97@yahoo.com. I also emailed out little flyers for you to keep onhnad in case you see someone, so they will have all the info. If you want one but didn't get it, email me penfieldclass97@yahoo.com. Thanks!
