Have you bought your tickets yet?

Get your tickets now for our 20 year reunion!  We are excited that so many of you have already bought tickets for the reunion on Saturday November 25th, 2017 from 7-10pm at Finn's Tap Room in Victor, NY  (owned by Nick Iadorola) for our 20th high school reunion.  We've got tasty hot and cold appetizers, open bar (thank you Uber), silly drinking games and tons of 90s music.  We don't have to leave at 10pm, the night will just get a tad pricier.  Shenanigans will certainly occur, so you don't want to miss you.

If you haven't purchased your tickets yet, you can now using the PayPal link below for $35 per ticket.  Unfortunately, no tickets will be sold at the door to enable us to plan for enough food and drinks.

Some FAQs answered:

  • Tickets will not be mailed but there will be a check in at the door when you arrive.
  • We were unable to book a group rate at a local hotel due to the holiday weekend.
  • We can still use help with decorating if you are free on November 25th.
  • If you would like to plan a family-friendly event over Thanksgiving weekend, please do!

Looking forward to seeing you in just 6 weeks!

We graduated nearly 20 years ago

But we are still young at heart!  As of May 2016, we have started thinking about our 20th high school reunion.  There is now a Facebook group for the Class of 1997, which we will use to get a feel for what kind of event people want and at what time of year.

Please encourage our classmates to join the group, which they can find here.

Informal reunion?

I noticed the site has had a few more hits that normal lately.  If you would like to plan an informal class reunion over the holidays, please email me (metubbs@hotmail.com) with info and I will post it here.  Unfortunately, I no longer live in Rochester and don't have plans to visit the ROC any time soon.

15 Years Since the Eastman Theater

We walked across the stage at the Eastman Theater in June of 1997. Seems like an eternity ago, doesn't it? I am living abroad now and haven't heard about a reunion taking place.

If you are planning a 15 year reunion, please let me know by commenting below and I will post the information for everyone.

Happy Leap Day!

15 Years already?

Hello there! I am dusting off this blog to see if there is any interest in a 15 year reunion. As I live abroad now, I will be unable to coordinate the event, but I would be happy to give my successor tips and the info we have from the last reunion. I suspect with Facebook linking everyone together, the planning should be much easier.

Please send me an email if you would like to step up and plan our 15th reunion!

Thanks!

Volunteers Needed in Rochester

I received this email from Kevin and Kristine (Hedberg) White. If you live in or around Rochester, they could really use your help. Send me photos from the event and I will post them on the blog.

Hello Everyone,

As most of you know Kristina and I are the Volunteer Coordinators for the American Diabetes Associations Tour de Cure. This is our 2nd year in this role and we are looking for some help. The Tour is only a month away (June 8) and we are short some volunteers and are calling on our friends and family to volunteer and come join us at Mendon Ponds Park. Here is what is in it for you - Lunch from your choice of either Panera Bread or Outback Steakhouse, a wine tent, a free t-shirt, live music, and a day of being in the sun for a good cause!

In America, 20.8 million people suffer from diabetes, it can complicate pregnancy, lead to heart disease and stroke, cause blindness and in some cases lead to amputation. Last years event raised over $400,000, we placed in the top 5 nationwide in fundraising and this year we are looking to be bigger, but we need your help to do that. We need everything from setting up on Saturday, to rider registration, cheerleaders, food distribution, return rider check in and much more. The event is June 8th, a Sunday, and if you have an hour or four, send me an e-mail and I'll tell you what positions we need help in.
Thank you,
